Application Conditions
Language requirement: Minimum language requirement is CLB5 (IELTS Listening 5, Speaking 5, Reading 4, Writing 5)
Education background: No strict requirement, but college degree or above is recommended
Funding requirement: Applicants need to provide startup funds (as per business plan) and settlement funds (as per government regulations)
Latest settlement funds requirement (as of June 3, 2024):
CAD 14,690 for 1 person, CAD 18,288 for 2 people, CAD 22,483 for 3 people. For each additional family member, add CAD 22,483No criminal record: Applicant, spouse, and children over 18 must provide police clearance
Good health: Applicant and family members must meet federal immigration medical requirements
Startup project must meet the following:
1. When receiving a support letter from a designated Canadian institution
Have a qualified innovative project
Each applicant must hold at least 10% company equity
The designated institution and all applicants together must hold more than 50% of the company equity
2. At time of PR approval
The applicant's company must be registered in Canada and operate business within Canada
The applicant must actively and continuously manage and operate the company's business in Canada
Designated Canadian institutions:
Such as venture capital funds, angel investor groups, or business incubators
Investment requirements:
Venture capital fund must commit at least CAD 200,000 investment

Incubator must admit the applicant into its program
Canada SUV dependent family members
SUV program allows the applicant to bring spouse and unmarried children under 22 in the immigration application. Accompanying family will obtain Canadian permanent resident status together with the main applicant and enjoy quality Canadian education, healthcare, and social welfare.
“Canada SUV” Application Process
Preliminary assessment and signing: Assess eligibility and sign immigration agreement
Team building and project planning: Determine startup team members (1 founder + 4 co-founders), complete business plan, sign business agreement
Incubator application and interview: Prepare and submit incubator application materials, complete interview, obtain pre-approval
Startup training and obtaining support letter: Attend incubator training course, submit IELTS transcripts, obtain support letter
PR application and company registration: Founder and co-founders submit PR applications to federal immigration, founder submits work visa application, complete company registration
Company operation and capital injection: After founder lands with work visa, co-founders transfer operating funds to the company and fulfill obligations
Medical exam and landing: After receiving medical notice, whole family completes medical exam, obtains immigrant visa, lands in Canada, and receives PR card
