Suitable applicants:

• Those who have received a job offer from a Hong Kong company, with the company applying for a work visa to the Immigration Department

• Those who have registered a company in Hong Kong, and then apply for a work visa to the Immigration Department on the grounds of being a shareholder who needs to develop the business and take up a position in the company

Policy features/advantages:

• Used to introduce talents that cannot be found locally in Hong Kong; applicants must first obtain a job offer from a Hong Kong employer

• Self-employed talents, i.e., those who open their own company in Hong Kong, can apply for a Hong Kong visa by having their company hire themselves

• Higher approval rate (88%), shorter processing time (as short as 1-3 months)
