Features:
Not restricted by region, can work and live anywhere in Australia

Through skills assessment
Meet the minimum 65 points score requirement
IELTS minimum 6 in all bands
2. State Nominated Skilled Migration (190 Visa)
Applicable groups
Skilled talents wishing to obtain nomination from an Australian state or territory
Features:
Must live and work in the nominating state for at least two years
Application requirements:
Meet the minimum 65 points score requirement
Under 45 years old
Obtain state government nomination
Meet specific additional equirements of the state
Complete required skills assessment and English test (IELTS)
3. Regional Skilled Migration (491 Visa)
Applicable groups:
Skilled migrants willing to work and live in regional areas of Australia
Features:
Can apply for permanent residency (191 visa) after holding the visa for 3 years
Application requirements:
Meet the minimum 65 points score requirement
Under 45 years old
Regional area employer or family member sponsorship
Meet specific occupation requirements
Complete required skills assessment and English test (IELTS)
4. Skills in Demand Visa (SID 482) *Newly launched on 6 December 2024
Applicable groups:
Professional skills stream requires high-skilled migrants to meet the $135,000 AUD salary requirement in Australia; for skilled workers, occupation refers to CSOL occupation list, and annual salary must meet or exceed TSMIT requirement (currently 73,150 AUD). The labor agreement stream provides more flexibility, annual salary can be below TSMIT requirement, targeting urgently needed low-salary positions, such as aged care, etc
Features:
All applicants will be able to obtain up to 4 years of residence and work rights in Australia
After 1 year of work, applicants can apply
All applicants will have a clearer pathway to permanent residency
This will make it easier for skilled workers to make long-term plans in Australia
Application requirements:
Sponsorship requirement: Requires eligible employer to sponsor the applicant
Age: No age requirement, but for permanent residency conversion normally need to be under 45 years old
Language: IELTS average 5
Occupation restriction: Almost no occupation restriction, but occupation and salary must match or have relevant proof
Number of grants: Demand-driven, no limit on number of grants
