Malaysia
In recent years, Malaysia, with its prime location, multiculturalism, and friendly relocation policies, attracts more foreigners. Whether for better quality of life, education, or business, Malaysia is a top choice.

Why
Malaysia’s cost of living is low especially in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, etc. Housing, medical, and education costs are far lower than in the West. Infrastructure is excellent, healthcare is high standard and quality of life is globally ranked.
Malaysia is multicultural; Chinese, Malays, Indians, and others live harmoniously. English, Chinese, and Malay are commonly used, so language barrier is low, especially for Chinese.
Malaysia has an internationalized system; many international schools offer British, American, or IB programs at low fees.
Main Immigration Pathways
1. Education Migration (Student Visa + Guardian Visa)
Foreign students can attend international schools in Malaysia on a student visa. One parent can accompany them on a guardian visa, though work is not allowed for guardians.
2. Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)
MM2H offers long-term, renewable visas for retirees, families, and investors. Financial requirements and benefits vary by tier—Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Economic/Financial Zone—with higher deposits and property purchases securing longer stays and more privileges. Spouses and dependents are included.
3. Investment
Residency is available via investment in assets, business, or entrepreneurship. The Premium Visa Program (PVIP) targets wealthy applicants—requiring high income, a large deposit, and fees—with partial deposit usage allowed after one year.
4. Residence Pass for Talent (RP-T)
For professionals earning at least MYR 15,000/month and with 3+ years’ work in Malaysia, the RP-T offers a 10-year work and stay permit for the holder and spouse, with no deposit or residency requirement.
5. Professional Migration (Employment Visa)
Employer-sponsored work visas allow foreigners to work in Malaysia for 1–2 years, with renewals. The minimum monthly salary is RM 5,000.
6. Digital Nomad Migration (DE Rantau Nomad Pass)
Remote workers and freelancers can apply for a renewable digital nomad visa with a minimum annual income of $24,000, allowing up to two years’ stay.
7. Spouse Migration (Spouse Visa)
Foreign spouses of Malaysians can apply for a spouse visa, which allows work. After five years’ residence, they may apply for permanent residency.
8. Family Reunion
Foreign family members (spouse, children, parents) can join Malaysian relatives. The family visit visa requires proof of relationship and local support, permitting stays up to six months.
